Nursery simulator, and baby care idle game
Unity Game Designer & Developer
Computer Science Engineer
The dawn of the 25th of June 1998, i was introduced to this Massive Online Multiplayer game ! I basically started from scratch,
without any knowledge of neither the mechanics nor the objective of this game. Thankfully i spawned in a relatively middle class party who,
despite being a newbie, taught me the basics and rules of this huge world.
In this world, You don't get to farm and grind to rise your level, as it rises
at a constant rate, but its on you to catch up to it and make good use of your EXP !
- At level 6; which is approximately 2190 Days after
the day i spawned, I unlocked the "School", which was kinda common at that level mark.
- At level 15; i tested the "Programming" skill, i
loved it ! and immediately unlocked it and started to grind it whenever i could.
- At level 18; while i was at high school, I discovered
many skills that were unlockable for me, notably "Drawing" and "Astronomy".
When finally i maxed out the high school, and got my "Baccalaureate"
achievement,
I had to choose a speciality, i didn't thought much about it by then, but i knew i loved programming so i narrowed down the options. But still; the ones i
really wants had too much requirements that i couldn't accomplish at that time. So under the "College" category, i selected "ENSA" (Ecole National des Sciences
Appliqueés in French) the National School of Applied Sciences, which has a Computer Science course, and grants an achievement of "State Engineer" after
accumulating a total of 5 levels worth of knowledge and experience.
- I got introduced to Game Design at level 19. the best
skill i unlocked so far ! and since then, i tried to learn as much as i could about it, and experiment with different technologies and tools, despite my time
severely restricted by studies and academic projects.
- And finally, 24 Levels into this game, I got my Computer Science Engineer Achivement, which ups my ranks in the guild, and unlocks more advanced quests and teams.
By this time, i tought myself how to make games, and managed to create a few despite the grinding in College.
I learned enough to knew that there is far more interesting stuff to learn which excited me, made me work hard !
- And now, 27 Levels into this game, i joined a couple of guilds and dove into the world of Professional Game Development, I have a douzen games under my belt, and more
than enough energy and passion to make even more !
I learned that there is no end to it, and that i should enjoy the journey, and make the most out of it ! Because this is my passion, and i love it !
